Basics of Breastfeeding

Thinking about how you plan to feed your baby? Wanting to offer breast milk to your baby?

Then join our prenatal breastfeeding class today taught by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)! This class is perfect for any family, whether you are expecting your first baby, your fourth baby or if you are just not sure if you want to breastfeed!

 

Come learn all the basics of breastfeeding such as how your body makes milk, what to expect at the hospital, positioning and latching your baby, how to take care of your breasts, common challenges and ways to feel empowered that feeding is going well. It is important for families to feel empowered when raising their babies, regardless of feeding choices. 

 

Currently, this class is offered monthly and is no cost. One support person is welcome to attend!

Empower your birth experience with knowledge and confidence.

Our Understanding Birth class is designed to prepare expecting parents for labor, delivery, and the early postpartum period. Whether you’re planning a hospital birth, birth center experience, or home birth, this class will give you the tools, understanding, and support you need for a positive and informed journey.

This class will cover the stages of labor and what to expect at each phase, comfort measures, medical options and interventions, c-section births, postpartum recovery and self-care and more! Cost is $120. 

Infant Safety Class

Confidence starts with safety! Join us for a 3-hour class to learn about safe sleep, car seat safety, infant CPR, and more — designed to help caregivers feel prepared and empowered.

Newborn Care Class

Join us for a comprehensive 6-hour class covering newborn care essentials — including diapering, swaddling, infant safety, feeding, and more! Perfect for new and expecting parents looking to feel confident from day one.

Saturday, April 4th – 9am to 3pm 

Babywearing Session

Curious about babywearing–but overwhelmed by all the options? This beginner-friendly class is designed for pregnant and postpartum parents who want to feel confident choosing and using a baby carrier that actually works for their body, their baby, and their lifestyle. Kelsey (@carrymibaby) breaks down babywearing in a practical, no-pressure way so you can skip the trial-and-error (and the pile of unused carriers). You’ll leave with: -A clear understanding of which carrier type fits your needs -Confidence to use a carrier safely and comfortably -Practical tips you can use right away–whether baby is here or still on the way Perfect for: -Expecting Parents who want to be prepared (and know what to register for!) -New parents looking for hands-free comfort and connection -Anyone who wants to babywear without confusion or frustration Babies are welcome, curiosity encouraged, and no prior babywearing experience required.

Prenatal/Postpartum Class

Growing a baby comes with a lot of nutrition questions, we’ve got you! From bump to first bites, join our prenatal and postpartum nutrition class led by two registered dietitian nutritionists. We’ll cover pregnancy nutrition, postpartum nourishment, and how to confidently start solids with baby-led weaning – offering simple, realistic guidance, real food tips, and a supportive, judgment-free space for you and your growing family.
