Thriving as a Couple After Baby
June 27 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm
Free

This interactive half-day workshop is designed to help couples navigate one of the most challenging and meaningful transitions in life: becoming parents while staying connected as partners. Drawing from the work of John and Julie Gottman, Eve Rodsky, and relational insights from Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic, this class blends science, structure, and real-life application.
Participants will leave with concrete tools to reduce conflict, increase emotional connection, and function as a team in the midst of parenting demands.
By the end of the workshop, couples will be able to:
- Understand why relationship satisfaction often declines after having children—and how to prevent it
- Recognize and interrupt common negative patterns (criticism, defensiveness, withdrawal)
- Improve communication during high-stress parenting moments
- Develop a more equitable and transparent division of labor at home
- Strengthen emotional and physical intimacy post-baby
- Shift from “being right” or reactive to being intentional and relational
Class is free to attend and you can register here.
